Abstract
This school improvement plan aims to increase the overall use of visuals in the Early Childhood Special Education Classroom at Spirit Lake Elementary. Targeted areas of improvement include: using a visual schedule, using cue cards, and using the core board independently. By implementing interventions with the adults in the classroom, the plan is set to increase overall independence while using these different materials. Data will be collected daily to document how the young students are responding and using the various visual cue cards. The implementation of this plan in crucial in working with young students with special needs at Spirit Lake Elementary.
