Abstract

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports is a data-driven framework aimed at improving student behavior, school climate and academic performance, but its successful implementation requires staff buy-in and consistent application despite its potential. This school improvement plan aims to implement PBIS with fidelity, address student behavior and staff buy-in barriers and ensure consistent applications for a positive school climate and improved student outcomes. The implementation strategy involves staff training, continuous professional development and regular data collection and analysis. Training will focus on PBIS principles, emphasizing its benefits for students and the school environment. Continuous professional development will incorporate feedback and adapt to emerging needs. The project aims to reduce behavior incidents and enhance staff understanding and commitment.
