Abstract

Technology use in classrooms has become popular throughout the last decade. Several factors show an increase in student learning and motivation while using technology to enhance their content knowledge. This study examines the existing benefits of using technology in the classroom and the challenges that are present to several teachers when the students can access technology at home. The researcher completed a qualitative study using reflective practices to conduct data required from a literature review, reflection journal, and a teacher and student survey to draw their conclusions. This data led to the conclusion that technology is an essential part of the everyday life of students in education and there are many benefits of students using those opportunities to further their learning.
