Abstract

Arlyn DeWild enlisted in the armed services in 1969, and he served as a medic in Comanche Company 4th Battalion, 12th Infantry. When he returned to the United States, he was a chaplain's assistant. He discusses his injuries from a firefight and flashbacks after being home.
