Description
Purchased from Green Park Oriental Stores, Chtaura, Lebanon in January 1975. Dated circa 1st century BC during the Roman period.
This appears to have been found under the seas and is in remarkable condition. Jars such as these were employed to store liquid, wine, or water. Such pottery was common in every household in Jesus’s day.
