In 1942, Theora England arrived at Northwestern Classical Academy as a math instructor. By the time she retired in 1974, she had created a national recognized theatre program. Dr. England kept detailed scrapbooks of her students and theatre productions, which now belong to the Northwestern Archives at DeWitt Library.
