Abstract
Iva Stoehr Rensink (1901-2003), born in Leadville, CO, attended Central College in Pella, Iowa. Tere she met her future husband, Leonard Rensink. The couple married in 1922 and settled on a farm north of Boyden, Iowa. Rensink wrote the History of Boyden and published a book on her family’s history. The collection contains Rensink’s self-published books detailing rural life during the Depression, World War II, and stories about her family and farm life. Also included is a high school scrapbook created by her daughter Anona Rensink Elliot Boone (1930-2018). Anona attended Boyden High School from 1942-1947.
