Abstract

This project explored different methods to alter patterns to create various designs in garments. It also included drafting basic bodices based on one’s measurements to create a well fitting base to start from. Alterations included pleating, style lines, and geometric patterning. All patterns were created on paper and turned into a muslin mock-up, before a final piece was created.
