Abstract
Alphonse Mucha was a visual revolutionary in the Art Nouveau movement and his work enjoyed years of fame. While the original pieces he created in his prolific career were successful by anyone’s standards, his art was given a second life in the 1960s when it was altered with psychedelic colors and came to define a second period of art history with Mucha’s distinctive style.
